    Camping in the Wind Farms

    May 6th

    Camping in the wind farms after the LA Aqueduct. Walking around these massive Sequoia size structures was cool and yet ominous with the steady swooshing of the blades. Also ominous walking by some of the broken older designed windmills. I mentioned to Mantis jokingly we should cowboy camp in the broken shell of it. She was not amused. Falling asleep next to them was also strange yet soothing with the white noise of blades.

    One thing I have noticed is how much waste we create every time we resupply and over the course of the days we are eating our food and the wrapping they come in adds up fairly quickly. It's a shame that we can't find better ways to package the food we need for resupply or be able to find more grocery stores with healthier and more eco friendly options.
