Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. If you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.
The Zenbivy Light Quilt was the best purchase I made all year. That said, it was not complete without the Zenbivy Light Sheet to accompany it. I absolutely love how simple and easy it is to slip the light sheet over my sleeping pad and then connect the light quit to the sheet. At 6'4" and 215 lbs. I have more room than I could ever imagine. The hood of the sheet keeps my pillow in place and provides that added extra warm on those cold fall nights. I questioned myself if a quilt was right for me. With the added Zenbivy Light Sheet I can say it is probably right for anyone looking to save weight with their sleep system and stay comfortable and warm while in the backcountry. I absolutely love my Zenbivy Light Sheet and Quilt.
More than I expected. Very comfortable, plenty of room to move around, and warm. There are so many options with this sleep system. Make sure to get the right size for you.
Love it, and I love that I was able to build the bed for my specific needs. A little lighter bottom sheet is fine for me - when it drops below a temperature at which this will be comfortable, I will use a different solution altogether. But I always want a warm top quilt, so this is pared with my light quilt 10. Way more flexible than other sleeping systems!
Very nice, easy to attach and comfortable.
The design of this sheet is very clever. The quilt is much warmer and less drafty when connected to the sheet and can be packed away connected to the quilt for easy setup. The head part keeps my pillow from sliding off and keeps my head warm when needed. There are two things I wish were options. First, the material used in the colored part (blue/green area) has too much of a plastic feel. It's not comfortable against the skin, and if I'm sleeping in shorts it's hot and sticks to my skin. I wish this area was softer, being on the sleeping pad directly would be more comfortable. This material is worse if you get any amount of dirt in the sheet, you can really feel the grit of the dirt and it makes the plastic feel even more annoying. I know a softer sheet might weigh a little bit more, but personally I'd be willing to sacrifice a little weight for this comfort on the light sheet. Second, I wish there was a 25x72" sheet. I like the width but the longer pad makes it hard to find a lightweight tent that fits the length. The way the hood is designed, it extends a bit beyond the top of the pad a few inches so a 77" pad is more like 80". I would love it if this was offered in 25x72" along with a matching sleeping pad. One final note, the black color on this sheet and all the Zenbivy products appears to be a dark chocolate brown to me but I like this color better. Overall, I'm happy with this sheet and if it's ever offered in a softer material at 25x72" it would be perfect!
Jen: Note that the 50d Polyester Pongee liner on our original Bed sounds like exactly what you are requesting: it has the feel of a bed sheet, but at a significant weight penalty compared to the 20d nylon on the Light Sheet. It's definitely not as luxurious as our 50d liner on the original bed, but it is a LOT softer and less sticky than most 10d ultralight quilts.
