Introducing the 2022 Zenbivy Bed 25°! Learn more about the new features under the "Features" tab.
With a sheet below you and a quilt above, the Zenbivy Bed is built just like your bed at home. The patented 2-piece design allows for the most comfortable and natural night’s sleep in the backcountry. Unlike the constriction of a traditional mummy bag, enjoy the spacious freedom to sleep in any position you want, in the widest range of temperatures. The Zenbivy Bed's versatility and adaptability are simply unmatched.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
NEW FEATURE! Purely Semi-Rectangular Quilt - The all-new Zenbivy Bed quilt is purely semi-rectangular. This not only provides full coverage when used flat but this new design completely eliminates the common hour-glassing pinch point issue that other quilts have when the foot box is formed. Rotate and move freely at night without the quilt grabbing and twisting around.
NEW FEATURE! The Kylie-curve™ - The patent-pending drawstring along the top edge of the quilt naturally shapes an internal “dome” of space when cinched, providing ample shoulder room to move and twist freely while the extra baffle up top forms a comfortable, draft-free barrier. The placement of the drawstring cinches only the center, leaving either edge loose to tuck into the hood of the sheet for further restriction-free protection against drafts.
NEW FEATURE! Roomy, Integrated Hood - The wide rectangular hood provides extra space and restriction-free warmth around the head and arms for all sleep positions. The new width of the integrated hood makes better use of rectangular mattresses and keeps the pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night.
NEW FEATURE! Re-engineered Baffles - The re-engineered baffle system on the 2022 Zenbivy Bed quilt maximizes thermal efficiency. Smaller baffles position the down precisely where it’s needed and minimize down-shift. Vertical baffles around the upper body prevent down from sliding off shoulders while sleeping or turning over. The horizontal baffles on the top of the foot box keep down from shifting with foot movement, while vertical baffles on the underside of the foot box guard against any drafts.
Quality Materials - We use premium 700 fill-power HyperDRY™ fluorocarbon-free water-resistant down from Allied. This is the best down you can get. It is sourced according to the Responsible Down Standard and each quilt comes with a tag that allows you to track exactly where your down came from.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft, but most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home. Bring a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp!
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you. Goodbye constrictive, twisted sleeping bags...
Convertible Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.

Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. If you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.
I love the the concept of the zenbivy bed and its super comfortable. You don't have to worry about rolling off the mattress at night which is great. My only complaint is I was freezing!!!! I have the original 23 degree system with the light mattress. I camped the other night and had to move inside at 27 degrees F. I'm typically a very hot sleeper. I had on merino wool long underwear and merino wool soxs. Also was wearing sweat pants, a columbia fleece and down jacket with a hat on and I couldn't tough it out. I guess maybe I needed a 0 degree blanket but I had higher hopes.
Oh my God. It's so warm and comfortable. I want to use it at home. Had no trouble in 40 degrees, even with it used as a quilt. Can't wait to use it closer to the 20 degree rating.
We have a large family and this is our second of what I hope to be many beds. We love the setup and flexibility. Thank you for such a great product!
OK, I have had this bag for a bit and love it...in 3 season weather. Recently hit Yosemite and JMT in Octoer and was a little concerned I would stay warm. Our last night was freak storm with 7 inches of snow and about 26-28 degrees. I was still pulling back the bag to hang my arms out. I was on a BA insulated pad and also used the zenbivy lux pillow. I must say, I fell more in love with this bag/system. We could hear the other guys rolling and making noise on their insulated pads, but my buddy and I were warm and quiet! He was in the 10 degree bag. I highly recommend!
Haven't used it in the real world yet, but it is super comfy and warm. Plenty of room to move around without restrictions and it is QUIET!!!!!!
