Size Guide

The quilt is sized to fit you. The sheet is sized to fit your mattress.

  • CLIP quilts and sheets are sold separately.
Sizes can be mixed & matched to create the fit that’s right for you and your mattress. All clip quilts are compatible with all clip sheets regardless of size, style, or temperature rating.

  • ZIP quilts and sheets are sold together.
Your mattress may determine what size quilt you get. For example, if your mattress requires a 30” sheet you will need to get the XL 30” ZipBed which comes with an XL quilt.

If you are an "active" sleeper or have a "wide" sleep position, consider sizing up to accommodate your sleep style.

When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there's no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy because the quilt is always free to wrap snuggly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm.

Quilt Sizing

On the chart below, locate your height and overarm measurement. To get your overarm measurement, stand with your arms hanging relaxed by your sides and loosely measure around the broadest part of your chest and arms.

Sheet Sizing

Zenbivy sheets are designed to fit most standard size mattresses on the market, both rectangular and tapered styles. Sheets fit rounded-edge mattresses up to 4” thick and 3D-style mattresses up to 3.5” thick.

Quilt Dimensions

Backpacking quilts are measured by the cut-fabric dimensions. Filled and lofted quilts will be shorter/narrower. On average:

  • 25°F quilts are approximately 2” shorter in both directions, for all sizes
  • 10°F quilts are approximately 4” shorter in both directions, for all sizes

Convertible quilts are 6” longer when open/flat.

Circumference

The maximum circumference around your shoulders/hips/feet for each size combination when the quilt is attached to the sheet.

Dry Sack Sizing

Both the quilt and sheet will fit in the recommended Dry Sack size and there will still be room to throw in your Zenbivy SoftTop™ Pillow or a down jacket.

You can expect your bed to compress down to about half the original size of the Dry Sack. Example: 7L compresses down to 3-4L, 10L down to 5L, etc
