Block Drafts

Together, the hood and wings of the sheet create a draft shield. Attaching your quilt to the draft shield keeps it "tucked" at your sides to block drafts and guides the corners of the quilt into the hood to seal in warmth around your neck and shoulders.

& Eliminate Constriction

The sides of the draft shield function as hinges, allowing the quilt to move freely, expanding and settling naturally while keeping the quilt from falling off the mattress.

This unique design instantly gives you space when you need it and the ability to wrap the quilt snuggly around you when you want it.

Which Footbox Is Right for You?

  • Fast Footbox™

    Unlike sewn footboxes that restrict your movement and do not vent, Zenbivy’s semi-fixed Fast Footbox™ uses a single clip that allows it to expand for more space or narrow for more warmth.

  • Convertible Footbox

    The Light Quilt Convertible -5°F features a fully-convertible, zipperless, proven draft-free footbox for maximum versatility. Convertible quilts are compatible with our Duvet Covers for use at home.

Winter Sleeping Pad System

For winter conditions (temperatures below 10°F, sleeping on frozen ground/snow/ice), you'll need a sleeping pad system with a recommended R-value target of 7.0.

Layer your 3-season mattress (R4.5-5.2) on top of a closed-cell foam pad (around R2). The foam pad is essential for safety as it can't puncture, providing crucial backup if your inflatable mattress fails in extreme cold.

    20D fabrics are much softer than traditional ultralight technical fabrics while being only a fraction heavier. They’re buttery-smooth, comfortable, durable, and worth the minuscule weight penalty. 

  • 800FP HyperDRY™ Down

    Built for performance, our premium 800 fill-power HyperDRY™ down from ALLIED Feather + Down uses a natural wax-based compound to make it water-resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.

  • Lightweight, Secure Clips

    Our color-coded clip closures are nearly weightless, proven draft-free, and practically disappear when you're using the quilt on its own.

  • Draft-Free Origami Baffle™

    Zenbivy convertible quilts overlap when forming the footbox to allow it to taper naturally. The drawstring is curved to create a natural baffle (the Origami Baffle™) that is then rolled inside and securely snapped in so when you cinch the footbox shut it blocks any possible drafts.

    The Light Quilt Convertible -5°F features an extended Origami Baffle™ to allow for the higher specified loft and an even more secure draft-free closure for extreme cold weather.

  • Semi-Rectangular Design

    Other quilts are commonly hourglass in shape, creating a pinch point that causes the quilt to grab and twist as you move. Zenbivy quilts are semi-rectangular, providing you the space and freedom to move naturally, without constriction.

  • Kylie-Curve™

    Other quilts have a drawstring running the full width of the quilt. When cinched, it’ll shorten, lifting the sides and letting in drafts. The baffle-backed Kylie-curve™ cinches only the center of a Zenbivy quilt, leaving either side loose to drape around you or tuck into the hood to block all drafts around your neck and shoulders.

  • Thermally-Mapped Baffles

    We designed our quilts for thermal efficiency, with smaller baffles to minimize downshift.

  • Built-in Headboard Clips

    The sheet's integrated hood acts as a built-in headboard, with loops to clip in your Zenbivy SoftTop™ Pillow to keep it from sliding off the mattress.
