    Winter Sleeping Pad System

    For winter conditions (temperatures below 10°F, sleeping on frozen ground/snow/ice), you'll need a sleeping pad system with a recommended R-value target of 7.0.

    Layer your 3-season mattress (R4.5-5.2) on top of a closed-cell foam pad (around R2). The foam pad is essential for safety as it can't puncture, providing crucial backup if your inflatable mattress fails in extreme cold.
