Step 1: Attach the Sheet to Your Mattress (Or Mattresses!)

The sheet needs to attach around a mattress, whether it’s a Zenbivy mattress or one from another brand. The Zenbivy Double Sheets work on one double-wide mattress or two single mattresses. Follow the steps below for the mattress setup you are using.

Attaching to Two Single Mattresses

  • Woman laying out a blue Zenbivy Double Sheet, face down, preparing to fit it on mattresses.

    Scroll through all 6 steps

    1. The easiest way to attach the sheet to two mattresses is to start with the Double Sheet face down. Make sure with center strap is unclipped and moved out of the way.

  • Woman placing 1 of 2 inflatable camp mattresses in the Zenbivy Light Sheet Double

    2. Slide both mattresses (upside down!) into the sheet, making sure to attach all corners of the sheet around the outer corners of each mattress.

  • Close up of hands threading the strap through the center connecting point on the Zenbivy Light Sheet Double that holds to mattresses in place

    3. Locate the loop in the center of the sheet. This will be right between the mattresses in the middle. Feed the long strap through that loop.

  • Hand tightening strap on the backside of a Zenbivy sheet to secure it.

    4. Clip and adjust the strap to secure the sheet to both mattresses.

  • Hands snapping the attachment point between 2 mattresses to keep the double sheet in place

    4. Next, locate the small loop and snap between the mattresses at both the head and foot end of the sheet. Feeding that short strap through the nearby loop and snap it.

  • Hands cinching the drawsting along the Zenbivy sheet to help secure it to the mattress

    5. Optional: Cinch the drawstring at the foot end of the sheet to get a better fit on shorter—or tapered—mattresses. Then flip the whole thing over!

*Older model Zenbivy Double Sheets will not have the drawstring to adjust the length.

Attach to One Double-Wide Mattress

To attach the Double Sheet to one mattress, simple pop the corners of the sheet around the mattress. Clip and cinch the long strap on the back to secure the sheet.

Step 2: Attach the Quilt to the Sheet

Attach the quilt to the sheet to block all drafts. Clipping one side is great for side sleepers and attaching both sides is ideal when it’s cold out. Test out different options to see what works best for you and your partner!

  • Woman laying a Zenbivy double quilt on top of the Zenbivy double sheet, ready to clip it into place

    1. Lay the quilt out on top of your sheet/mattress. The footbox should be at the foot end of your mattress and the Zenbivy logo should be face up.

  • Woman clipping a Zenbivy double quilt to the Zenbivy double sheet from the side

    2. Line up the 4 loops on the quilt with the color-coded clips that run along either edge of the sheet. Working your way from hip to head, clip in only as many as you need.

  • NOTE: You don't have to clip them all if you don't need to. Test it out and see what works best for you, your sleep style, and the conditions you're sleeping in.

Step 3: Add Your Pillows

Slide your pillows into the sheet's integrated hood and you're ready to hit the hay!

Zenbivy SoftTop™ Pillows clip into the hood to keep your pillows from falling off the mattress. Locate the 2 sets of yellow loops inside the hood and clip each pillow in.

Long-Term Storage

When storing your Zenbivy Double Bed, it's important to give it space. To protect the longevity of the insulation, you never want to store it long-term (i.e. between trips) fully compressed.

Every quilt comes with a large mesh storage bag. We recommend pulling your Zenbivy quilt and sheet out of their dry sack as soon as you get home from a backpacking trip. Make sure both the quilt and sheet are completely dry before stuffing them loosely in the mesh storage sack and storing it.
