Muscovy down clusters are exceptionally resilient, meaning they "spring back" quickly for greater loft capabilities and faster compression recovery.
Bigger Plumes
The more mature the duck, the bigger the plume! Due to the longer breeding period of Muscovy ducks, they produce plumes that are as large or larger than those of geese.
Stable Clusters
Muscovy down has an inherent "clinginess" comparable to Eider duck down, meaning each plume has the tendency to "grab on" to another, which creates more stability within each baffle and reduces shifting.
Free-Range Birds
Muscovy down is a byproduct of the food industry, but unlike battery-farmed ducks, Muscovy birds are ethically-raised in open, free-range environments with access to water.
