Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. Also note that if you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper (i.e someone who moves around a lot throughout the night), you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm.
Need help? Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your height, weight, general sleep style, and—if you have a mattress already that you plan to use with the Bed—the size of your mattress. We'll help you find the right size Bed for you!
Which size Dry Sack do you need? Find your Bed on the image above and match it to its recommended Dry Sack size. Don't worry, with the recommended size there will still be room to throw in your Zenbivy Pillow and even a down jacket. You can expect your Bed to compress down to about half the size of the its recommend Dry Sack.
CLOSEOUT! The Zenbivy Bed 30° Synthetic is discontinued. Available while stock lasts.
If you’re looking for a comfy bag that’s not only amazing at a developed campground but is light and compact enough for backcountry backpacking, this is the bed for you! Sleep in any position and in the widest range of temperatures—zipped up and tucked-in on cold nights, un-zipped and untucked on warm nights. The original Zenbivy Bed is the ultimate in camping comfort.
This is no dumbed-down synthetic like most brands offer. This bed features the exact build and the same buttery-soft fabrics as the down version. We use a 1d/3d polyester synthetic that is as soft as it gets. Then we spec’d a slightly higher rating to minimize the synthetic weight penalty. All-in-all, it’s as comfortable and as backcountry-worthy as the original.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
Purely Semi-Rectangular Quilt - The Zenbivy Bed quilt is purely semi-rectangular. This not only provides full coverage when used flat but this new design completely eliminates the common hour-glassing pinch point issue that other quilts have when the foot box is formed. Rotate and move freely at night without the quilt grabbing and twisting around.
The Kylie-curve™ - The Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4-length baffle-backed drawstring along the top of the quilt. The shortened drawstring length cinches only the center portion, so it softly seals around your neck but leaves the edges loose to either drape at your sides or tuck up into the sheet’s hood to block drafts.
Roomy, Integrated Hood - The wide rectangular hood provides extra space and restriction-free warmth around the head and arms for all sleep positions. The new width of the integrated hood makes better use of rectangular mattresses and keeps the pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night.
Quality Insulation - The next best thing to down! We use a 1d/3d polyester synthetic that is as soft as it gets.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft. But most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home, bringing a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp.
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you.
Versatile Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.
Storage Pocket - The handy pocket at the top of the hood makes it easy to find your phone, watch, or small flashlight at night.

Warm, when paired with a decent r value sleeping pad. I got the bigger version, and glad I did. At 6'3" 240 lbs and a side sleeper. I could not ask for more comfort. Even with the foot box zipped up i can still get very comfy. The way the head is designed. It will hold your pillow in place very well. And when it gets colder you tuck you head in to get even warmer. Pack size could be just a bit smaller. But I'm able to get into the sleeping bag compartment,I n my Atmos just fine. Overall I have zero issues with this system. Even purchased at full price. Then received a 15% off coupon via email. I replied jokingly " would have been nice to have 2 days ago". The very next day I received and email with a refund for the difference. Seems like a stand up company. Thanks!
I love this system!!! It is the best sleep system I have ever used. It works grate in the backcountry
I just returned from a 8 night bike tour where we camped every other night. This is the best sleep I have ever had while camping! I used it with my Thermarest Trail Pro sleeping pad and the sheet fit perfectly. I'm a restless sleeper and was able move around easily and not feel so confined. I'm also a "woman of a certain age" so I can go from feeling like my skin is on fire to freezing cold in a heartbeat. I could easily throw the whole quilt off of me and then just a quickly snuggle back under it. Not possible with either my old mummy bag or my side sleeper bag. The coldest it got while camping was in the 40s and I was fine with long pants and a long sleeve shirt. I never attached the quilt to the sheet but probably would if it got much colder than 40 overnight. If you are even contemplating purchasing this system, just do it! You will not regret it.
Very very comfortable. I love the materials! Highly recommend.
I sleep on my side and tend to toss and turn a lot. This sleeping bag let’s me do that without having it get all twisted up. I like to stick a foot out and it lets me. I use this mainly for motorcycle camping and the compression sack gets this 30” wide bag down pretty small. It’s also helpful that it attaches to my sleeping pad so it doesn’t slide all over the place. Worth every penny!!
