With a sheet below you and a quilt above, the Zenbivy Bed is built just like your bed at home. The patented 2-piece design allows for the most comfortable and natural night’s sleep in the backcountry. Unlike the constriction of a traditional mummy bag, enjoy the spacious freedom to sleep in any position you want, in the widest range of temperatures. The Zenbivy Bed's versatility and adaptability are simply unmatched.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
Purely Semi-Rectangular Quilt - The Zenbivy Bed quilt is purely semi-rectangular. This not only provides full coverage when used flat but this new design completely eliminates the common hour-glassing pinch point issue that other quilts have when the foot box is formed. Rotate and move freely at night without the quilt grabbing and twisting around.
The Kylie-curve™ - The Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4-length baffle-backed drawstring along the top of the quilt. The shortened drawstring length cinches only the center portion, so it softly seals around your neck but leaves the edges loose to either drape at your sides or tuck up into the sheet’s hood to block drafts.
Roomy, Integrated Hood - The wide rectangular hood provides extra space and restriction-free warmth around the head and arms for all sleep positions. The new width of the integrated hood makes better use of rectangular mattresses and keeps the pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night.
Thermally Mapped Baffles - We designed all of our quilts to maximize thermal efficiency, distributing down to provide the most warmth where it’s needed. Smaller baffles minimize down-shift, vertical baffles around the upper body prevent down from sliding, and horizontal baffles on the top of the foot box keep down from shifting with foot movement.
Quality Materials - Zenbivy Beds are filled with premium 700 fill-power HyperDRY™ down. This down uses a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft, but most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home. Bring a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp!
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you. Goodbye constrictive, twisted sleeping bags...
Convertible Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.

Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. Also note that if you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.

I was fortunate enough to be gifted this bag. The unique construction of the bag from a moment to get used to, especially right out of the box. However, it's warm and roomy, as advertised. It well make a nice shoulder season bag for sure.
So far...so good!!! Although I have only gotten to spend 2 nights in my Zenbivy Light 25 degree bed, I am very happy with my purchase. I am 5'9" and weigh 180lbs, but I opted to purchase the size XL bed in order to accommodate the Klymit Static V LUXE sleeping pad that I already owned. The sheet fit the pad perfectly and I really like all the extra wiggle room that having an XL quilt gave me. I have always felt so claustrophobic in every other sleeping bag, so the freedom of movement, ability to readjust without having to fight zippers, and being able to pull the quilt up and around my shoulders & face just adds to snuggle-ability factor. I also like the idea of a "pillow pocket"...no more chasing my pillow around the tent all night. I am super happy to finally have a bag I can sleep comfortably in all night, just like I do in my bed at home. Thank you Zenbivy for creating such an awesome sleep system - I am looking so forward to testing it out again on our extended backpacking trips into the Wind River Range this summer!!
I received my zenbivy fairly quickly and unpacking it I can tell the materials used are good quality. Getting the unit to Toronto meant the cost went up to $519.00, so for this amount I have high expectations for this item. I tested the bed using one of my many existing mattresses and the fit was reasonable with a couple of them. The feel of the materials is great, no cheap slide-off at night, thinner than paper stuff here. What I was disappointed with are the zippers. I have had trouble with them sticking on every use, and due to the zippers and lack of tie points it is less suited to use as a stand alone quilt. For this money I expect zippers that work every time. Overall this is a great product. Having been a user of Rumpl and other camp blankets for years as part of my backpacking set up i am happy that someone has taken the quilt market to the next level. I have a 10 day wilderness hike through Canadian mountains coming soon, this unit will be well tested by then :)
I think what I needed was the light-quilt item, but this is a welcome addition to my gear. Thanks !
Very comfortable, soft especially inside the top quilt, and being an active sleeper and tend to be on the claustrophobic side , I'm able to adjust to my needs without any hassle!! Did a campout in 28 degree F weather paired with my sleeping pad (rated at 3.3 R-value) was super comfortable, stayed warm, and slept so well, I was completely blown away, actually slept better than in my own bed haha!!
I bought this to go to Iceland later this year. I have only used it in my living room so far, but it is so cozy. I have thought of sleeping in it versus my bed for a night. I can't wait to use it outdoors.
