With a sheet below you and a quilt above, the Zenbivy Bed is built just like your bed at home. The patented 2-piece design allows for the most comfortable and natural night’s sleep in the backcountry. Unlike the constriction of a traditional mummy bag, enjoy the spacious freedom to sleep in any position you want, in the widest range of temperatures. The Zenbivy Bed's versatility and adaptability are simply unmatched.
The Zenbivy Bed 10º is perfect for colder sleepers or anyone pushing the limits of “3-season”. These beds are WARM! If you are looking for maximum comfort and warmth in your backcountry sleep system, look no further than the Zenbivy Bed 10º.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
Purely Semi-Rectangular Quilt - The Zenbivy Bed quilt is purely semi-rectangular. This not only provides full coverage when used flat but this new design completely eliminates the common hour-glassing pinch point issue that other quilts have when the foot box is formed. Rotate and move freely at night without the quilt grabbing and twisting around.
The Kylie-curve™ - The Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4-length baffle-backed drawstring along the top of the quilt. The shortened drawstring length cinches only the center portion, so it softly seals around your neck but leaves the edges loose to either drape at your sides or tuck up into the sheet’s hood to block drafts.
Roomy, Integrated Hood - The wide rectangular hood provides extra space and restriction-free warmth around the head and arms for all sleep positions. The new width of the integrated hood makes better use of rectangular mattresses and keeps the pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night.
Thermally Mapped Baffles - We designed our quilts to maximize thermal efficiency, distributing down to provide the most warmth where it’s needed. Smaller baffles minimize down-shift, vertical baffles around the upper body prevent down from sliding, and horizontal baffles on the top of the foot box keep down from shifting with foot movement.
Quality Materials - Zenbivy Beds are filled with premium 700 fill-power HyperDRY™ down. This down uses a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft, but most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home. Bring a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp!
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you. Goodbye constrictive, twisted sleeping bags...
Convertible Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.

Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. Also note that if you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.

I can't sleep in mummy style bags so I spent the extra $$$ for this bed. I used the bed and pad for the first time this weekend. The temp fell to 4° Celsius and It kept me so warm I had to turn it into a blanket. I loved the space it provided even when done up. The only issue I had was with the sleeping pad. It lost quite a bit of air by the morning. Is that normal?
Never mind at bivi to the title... This thing isn't even a good cheap blanket. The materials look and feel cheap on everything that came with this. Even the sleep matt is the lowest quality I've seen. And the sheet system when removed makes this useless as a sleeping bag... Then there's the supposed foot space... And a hole at the bottom so cold air can come in on your feet! I've never felt more ripped off in my life! They didn't even get my order right even tried to push the blame on me! I recommend you avoid this company like the plague!
Again, we are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with the sleep system. As stated in our emails back and forth, we tried to catch your order before it shipped to make the size change but it shipped with the originally-ordered size before we could stop it. We were certainly not trying to push the blame on you, but we looked into the issue and could not find any error in our system, so that lead us to believe it was simply a browser issue: an unfortunate technical error that was not your fault. We understood that you were upset and to remedy the situation, we provided a prepaid return label so that you could ship the smaller size back for either exchange or return but we did not hear back after that. If you would still like to return the items for refund we would be happy to help you with that. Please let me know if you need me to resend that label. Thank you again.
Have a great weekend,
Finally a bag for larger guys
I honestly wish I heard of Zenbivy sooner. I started off with a traditional mummy bag, but hated how restrictive it is in the shoulders. I saved up and purchased a quilt but couldn't deal with the drafts no matter how I set it up. I now own this 10deg Zenbivy bed in an XL in combo with my Thermarest Topo Lux 30in wide (their largest pad). OMG this setup has been tried once in Dolly Sods and I will not look back. I weigh 255 (big boy) and I need the loft of the pad and now this Zenbivy bags warmth and comfort can't be beat. I will use no other bag EVER...
I spend a lot of time in the woods and have slept in several different types of bags/air mat. The Zenbivy is by far the most comfortable sleep system I have used. My Zenbivy 10 kept me comfortable in 8 degree weather combined with a liner and warm sleep clothing. Typically in a mummy bag you cannot move around when bundled up and wake up sore. Not an issue in my Zenbivy. Excellent sleep system.
I don’t own one but I’ve used it and love the system. That being said I wouldn’t buy one myself because I’m a 5’1 female. I saw the companies response to someone else mentioning this and want to say it’s not only about the length. Not offering options for short people (particularly women) forces us to carry the same weight as tall men, not to mention extra material uselessly takes up precious space in our packs. For some women I’m sure it’s fine but for many it’s not. Please reconsider your reasoning for not offering functional options to a portion of your community.
The size Regular Zenbivy quilt is designed to fit the average size woman in the US a 5'4", and up to 6" above or below that height. So a regular is the ideal length for someone who is 5'1". Some people might be able to get away with a slightly smaller quilt with a slight weight savings, but for the vast vast majority of adults, our size regular is the correct size for comfort and thermal efficiency.
