Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. If you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.
The original Zenbivy Bed is the most comfortable backcountry sleeping bag ever designed. If you’re looking for a comfy bag that’s not only amazing at a developed campground but is light and compact enough for backcountry backpacking, this is the bed for you! Sleep in any position and in the widest range of temperatures—zipped up and tucked-in on cold nights, un-zipped and untucked on warm nights. The original Zenbivy Bed is the ultimate in camping comfort.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
Quality Materials - We use premium 700 fill power HyperDRY™ fluorocarbon-free water-resistant down from Allied. This is the best down you can get. It is sourced according to the Responsible Down Standard and each quilt comes with a tag that allows you to track exactly where your down came from.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft. But most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home, bringing a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp.
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you.
Versatile Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.
Storage Pocket - The handy pocket at the top of the hood makes it easy to find your phone, watch, or small flashlight at night.

This sleeping bag is unlike any other that I have had. It is warm and comfortable, and packs so small. I roll around a lot when I sleep, and traditional sleeping bags get tangled, but the Zenbivdy never budged. I had several great nights of sleep in a row!
The Zenbivy bed was amazing! The quilt was warm and comfortable and most importantly not too constricting like most mummy bags I’ve used in the past.
not satisfied at all, no stuff bag came with it, it showed up in the mail just stuffed into an envelope --and it ripped very easily. I threw it away. I do not recommend your product. If you send me a better bag with a stuff bag, I'll give you a chance, but I doubt you will.
Hi Maria, Thanks so much for supporting Zenbivy. Dry Sacks are sold separately. The Zenbivy Bed includes only the fitted sheet, top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. We try to make this clear in the product's description but we do apologize for the misunderstanding! As far as the shipping goes, our Zenbivy Beds should be shipped in a box and not an envelope. Do you happen to have a photo of the envelope it was shipped in? I will bring this issue up with our fulfillment team. In the meantime, please let us know if we can help with anything else. You can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org - Kylie Torrence
I tested out my zenbivy on a week long backpacking trip to the North Coast Trail and Cape Scott (north end of Vancouver island). It was super toasty (nights went down to 10 degrees C) but easy to accommodate by opening zippers and the foot drawcord. I toss and turn in the night and my zenbivy made it easy as it is super roomy. I also easily wiped up a spill from the sheet with just some water. I highly recommend!
They are great bags better than anything I’ve found to date, Quality is what Sierra designs, North Face, Gerry made back in the Late 60s early 70s. This should be the new standard in sleeping bags for expedition use.
