The original Zenbivy Bed is the most comfortable backcountry sleeping bag ever designed. If you’re looking for a comfy bag that’s not only amazing at a developed campground but is light and compact enough for backcountry backpacking, this is the bed for you! Sleep in any position and in the widest range of temperatures—zipped up and tucked-in on cold nights, un-zipped and untucked on warm nights. The original Zenbivy Bed is the ultimate in camping comfort.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately).
Quality Materials - We use premium 700 fill power HyperDRY™ fluorocarbon-free water-resistant down from Allied. This is the best down you can get. It is sourced according to the Responsible Down Standard and each quilt comes with a tag that allows you to track exactly where your down came from.
Unconventional Lining - Our legendary Pongee fabric is both durable and soft. But most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home, bringing a familiar kind of can’t-beat-it comfort to camp.
Freedom To Move - Never slide off your mattress again. When the top quilt is zipped to the "wings" of the fitted sheet, the Zenbivy Bed is instantly free to get wider when and where you need it to. Then just as instantly, it "settles" to wrap snugly around you.
Versatile Foot Box - The convertible foot box allows you to easily regulate your sleeping temperature. On a cold night, zip and cinch it completely shut to keep your feet toasty warm. Mild evening? Leave the bottom open to allow a cool draft. When it's warm out, simply unzip the foot box and use the quilt as a blanket.
Storage Pocket - The handy pocket at the top of the hood makes it easy to find your phone, watch, or small flashlight at night.

Locate your height on the ruler below to see which size quilt and sheet/mattress we recommend for you. Ideally, you'll want to fall somewhere in the middle of the range. If you find yourself in the yellow, you'll probably want to size up for the most comfortable fit. Please note that the chart below is based on the average weight for each height. If you are an "active" or "wide" sleeper, you may want to consider sizing up to allow yourself more space to sleep naturally.
When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there is no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy Bed because it is always free to wrap snugly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm. Questions? We're happy to help. Send us an email with your height, weight, and general sleep style and we'll help you find the right size for you.
Haven't used it in the real world yet, but it is super comfy and warm. Plenty of room to move around without restrictions and it is QUIET!!!!!!
I have a ZENBIVY 23F and a 10F bed. Used the 10F in YELLOWSTONE this week in 22F weather with the 23F as a blanket on top. Extremely hot - especially in the late evening. My daughter and her husband used several blankets on a home style air mattress and couldn't sleep at all due to the cold. The next morning she bought a regular 40F sleeping bag (only thing available) but I told her to use my ZENBIVY 23F instead plus the blankets. while I used her new sleeping bag as a blanket on top of my 10F ZENBIVY bed and was still very, very comfortable. According to her (freezing) husband my daughter slept solidly as a log and she told me the next morning that in the beginning she was also very very hot inside the ZENBIVY 23F. Great sleeping gear - highly recommended.
Amazing sleep system…. Felt like I was in bed at home
I recently bought 23° bed and I’m VERY happy with it. I’ve only used it for one weekend trip so far. Spent 3 nights with lows in the mid 40°sF. I do not sleep well when my feet are bound and in a regular sleeping bag my feet get so hot I’m very uncomfortable. With this bed system I was able to keep my feet free and the right temperature! I can’t wait to get back out and use it again. If Zenbivy creates a 2 person bed I’ll be swooping it up as well for when my husband comes with me! I would like to get the next warmer comforter for this bed as well. Just to have options.
This sleeping bag is unlike any other that I have had. It is warm and comfortable, and packs so small. I roll around a lot when I sleep, and traditional sleeping bags get tangled, but the Zenbivdy never budged. I had several great nights of sleep in a row!
