With a sheet below you and a quilt above, the Zenbivy Bed is built just like your bed at home. The patented 2-piece design allows for the most comfortable and natural night’s sleep in the backcountry. Unlike the constriction of a traditional mummy bag, enjoy the spacious freedom to sleep in any position you want, in the widest range of temperatures. The Zenbivy Bed's versatility and adaptability are simply unmatched.
Includes the fitted sheet, convertible top quilt, and large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and dry sack sold separately)
Our patented 2-piece sleeping bag is built just like your bed at home with a sheet below you and a quilt above. Even when fully zipped in, the quilt "floats" above you, letting you sleep in any position and giving you the freedom to move without feeling constricted.
Sleeping hot? Easily kick your arms and legs out or "throw the covers off" to get quick, cooling relief. Cold night? Zip the quilt to the sheet and tuck in under the hood to ensure a draft-free night. The versatility of the Zenbivy Bed allows you to use it in a wide range of temperatures throughout the year.
The baffles are perfectly engineered to maximize thermal efficiency. Smaller baffles position the down precisely where it’s needed and minimize down-shift. Vertical baffles around your upper body prevent down from sliding off your shoulders. Smaller horizontal baffles on the foot box keep down from shifting with foot movement.
The Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4-length baffle-backed drawstring along the top of the quilt. The shortened drawstring length cinches only the center portion, so it softly seals around your neck but leaves the edges loose to either drape at your sides or tuck up into the sheet’s hood to block drafts.
A purely semi-rectangular quilt not only provides full coverage when used flat but also eliminates the common hour-glassing pinch point issue that other backcountry quilts have when the foot box is formed. Rotate and move freely at night without the quilt "grabbing" you and twisting.
Conventional slippery and thin sleeping bag fabric didn't appeal to us... We wanted to elevate your camping experience and give you something better. Our legendary Pongee fabric makes the Zenbivy Bed feel like pure luxury. It's both durable and soft, but most importantly, it has a similar feel to a sheet you would use at home, bringing a familiar kind of comfort to camp.
Designed for all sleep positions, the Zenbivy Bed sheet features an integrated hood that provides restriction-free warmth for your head. The wide rectangular shape give stomach-sleepers room to fit their arms as well! The hood functions as a cubby to keep your camp pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night.
Zenbivy Beds are filled with premium 700 fill-power HyperDRY™ down. Built for performance, this down uses a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
Our sheets are designed to fit most standard size mattresses on the market—both rectangular AND tapered styles! See our full size guide for specifics on sheet/mattress sizing.
Compression Dry Sacks are sold separately. You can expect your Light Bed (quilt + sheet) to compress down to about half the size of the Dry Sack itself.
We recommend the 10L Dry Sack for all sizes of the Zenbivy Bed 25°
I love the versatility of the whole set up. It's great being able to kick the covers off when I get too hot or get all snuggled up with it's super cold. I was stunned by how warm it kept me! And the pillow holder ... I didn't realize what an awesome thing that was until the first time I used it. My pillow didn't slide all over the place when I changed positions during the night!
This bed is amazing! Packs small, light weight, super warm! The inside material is so comfortable and soft like sleeping in your best sheets. Plenty of room to move around but it doesn’t let in cold air. I’ve tried a ton of different camping options and this is by the far best I’ve ever used. Perfect for bikepacking and backpacking. I went with the large quilt. I’m 5’11 and 180 pounds.
I didn't know how badly my partial nights of sleep on trail impacted me until I got real sleep. I paired this with my big agnes q-core, & used it for two weeks on the CT & CDT, with temps down to 35ish. Best tent sleep ever. No more waking up all twisted & knotted in a standard bag, half off my sleep pad, wondering where my pillow went. I don't need as much to keep me warm as some, but I would definitely use this down to it's 25 rating without hesitating. One small critique: mid-section being unsealed creates airflow, which I actually liked most of the time, but wished I could have stopped easier when the temps dipped. I might try to solve this on my own with a few small squares of velcro for next time. Overall, I'd highly recommend.
Thus far I have used the Zenbivy bed 25 for about 2 weeks in total. I'm planning on using it for through hikes coming up and over the course of the winter. This is my main bed am I traveling and off grid living. I got the larger mattress which I'm happy with because I'm 6 ft 3 even though it's slightly heavier. My only real gripe is how warm it is. A summer sheet would do it wonders. Also I wish the coloring was black or blue mostly black. But other than that that's an excellent sleep system.
The 25 degree bag served me well on the high Sierra trail in August. We Slept under the stars at Guitar Lake the night before submitting Mount Whitney. Glad I made the switch away from my mummy.
