    Awesome sleep system

Love, love, love it! I wish I would’ve known about the Zenbivy system sooner. The material is soft and quiet, I am able to turn side to side without getting all twisted up as I would in a mummy bag. Once you get used to setting it up, it’s a breeze!

    Genius Functionality / Wasn't Warm

The design of this sleep system is really amazing. I tried it out at home and was really impressed by the functionality/versatility and was super excited to use it on my trip to Thousand Island Lake in the Eastern Sierra.... like very excited. However, when I got out there the night before I'd hike up into the mountains I woke up cold and it was only 40 degrees outside, which I figured a 25 degree quilt could have handled. I actually checked my thermostat because I was surprised by how cold I felt, but it read 40 degrees. I had the foot box completely cinched up and all of the loops clipped down, which I believe the warmest configuration. There was a little draft around the neck area, which is expected with a quilt, but the interior surface of the quilt was cold to the touch, even where the quilt was completely draft free. I consider myself somewhere between a warm/cold sleeper, I was fully clothed with long underwear/socks and an insulated jacket, and was using a 6.9 r-value sleeping pad, yet I still woke up cold. So much so that I decided to cancel that actual backpacking portion of the trip because I didn't think the quilt would keep me warm enough in the mountains where I was expecting lows of 33 degrees. It was really disappointing. Perhaps a liner will help mitigate the cold interior surface but I wish I would have gone with the 10 degree quilt.

    I’m in love

Where have you been my whole backpacking life! I am a hot sleeper and traditional mummy bags are suffocating. The first night I slept in my zenbivy light I said to my husband that I felt like I had been set free! Not only is this lighter than my mummy bag, it compresses smaller, is perfectly suited for me to sleep without overheating yet able to close up if it’s colder outside. I am truly in love with the zenbivy sleep system

    Kept me toasty

The quilt was very warm during my first use of it. I recently stayed in Yellowstone with lows hitting the mid 30s. I tend to sleep warm anyways, but felt comfortably warm each night.
