You don't have to choose between an ultralight pack or comfort at camp—the Light Bed gives you the best of both worlds. Our 2-piece sleeping bag combines the warmth and draft-free performance of a mummy bag with the luxurious comfort of a backpacking quilt. It's built to feel like your bed at home with a sheet below you and a quilt above so you can get a comfortable, natural night's sleep outdoors without the constriction of a mummy bag.
We've refined every aspect to save weight including using performance fabrics, high-quality down, and a unique ultra-secure hook and loop system to add versatility to the setup. We built the Light Bed for performance so you can go further outdoors in comfort.
The Light Bed 10° is WARM. It’s built for colder sleepers and those pushing the boundaries of “3-season”.
The Light Bed 10° includes the Light Quilt 10°, Light Sheet 10°, and an extra-large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and compression sold separately)
The Fast Footbox™ is our simplest, lightest, and quickest. With a single clip and minimal fuss, it easily converts from warm “mummy mode” to spacious “wide mode”.
In addition to both mummy and wide modes, our Convertible Footbox also unclips to lay completely flat. The Convertible Footbox provides maximum versatility in warmer temperatures and when used with accessories.
The Light Quilt uses a series of color-coded hooks and loops to form the footbox and attach the quilt to the sheet. This not only sheds the weight of heavy zippers, but gives you more versatility in how you choose to clip it!
The Light Quilt features a 3/4-length baffle-backed drawstring on the top edge. Unlike traditional backpacking quilts that have a drawstring spanning the entire width, the shortened cord length on the Zenbivy quilt cinches only the center portion, softly sealing around your neck without shortening the overall usable width of the quilt.
No thin, clingy 10d fabrics here. We found more clever ways to ditch ounces while keeping the fabric a very smooth, comfy, and durable 20d.
The Light Quilts use top-shelf 800 fill-power HyperDRY™ down, using a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
By clipping the Light Quilt to the hinged “wings” of the Light Sheet, it's free to get wider where and when you need it to while preventing any possible drafts from the sides as you move. Then, just as instantly, the quilt "settles" to wrap snuggly around you.
Tuck in under the sheet's large hood to keep your head warm on cold nights. It's roomy and wide enough to fit the arms of stomach sleepers as well! The integrated hood doubles as a cubby to keep your camp pillow from wandering off in the middle of the night.
The Light Sheets are made with 20d nylon taffeta. This 20d fabric is buttery-soft and smooth against your skin. It's more comfortable than sleeping directly on the mattress and, as a bonus, it helps to keep your mattress cleaner for longer!
Our sheets are designed to fit most standard size mattresses on the market—both rectangular AND tapered styles! They are available in 20x72, 25x72, 25x77, and 30x80 sizes. See our full size guide for specifics on sheet/mattress sizing.
Compression Dry Sacks are sold separately. You can expect your Light Bed (quilt + sheet) to compress down to about half the size of the Dry Sack itself.
We recommend the 10L Dry Sack for all sizes of the Light Bed 10°
I've been waiting and saving for a long while. Finally got my Light Bed 10 degree. Just used it for first time at Lost Lake RMNP. It's the best sleep I've ever had back packing. I usually wake up several times a night and sometimes have a hard time getting back to sleep. The comfort and room of the quilt is amazing! I had consistent temp and sleep through the entire night both nights!
I used the 10 degree F light bed for a 40 day backpacking trip in the wind river range from June to July 2022; it was wicked comfortable and amazing. Super lightweight. I do not like traditional sleeping bags so when I found out about the zenbivy quilt system, I knew I wanted to try it. Very happy with how it performed and had no drafts at all. It packs down super well and is easy to set up. But since the sheet goes around the sleeping pad, the whole thing will follow you to an upright position if you sit up inside it. But wicked happy with this purchase. And loved I could unhook parts of the quilt from the sheet to allow more variety of sleeping positions and not feel so restricted like in a regular bag. Recommended it to several people already and hope to try more of their products in the future! Thanks guys!!
Just took it on my first trip in moderate temperatures of about mid 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I actually ended up using it as a blanket for me and my partner which worked very well. I'll update more in future trips!
Best Sleeping Bag/Quilt I have ever owned. I have used my Light 10 degree on a number of camp trips including temperatures between -10 and +38 degrees C (14 and 100 degree F) and it was amazing to be able to set the sleep system up in such a way that I could be comfortable through a large span of temperatures. Although I think I was pushing the limits of my sleep system in the +38 degree C (100 degree F) weather and I am looking at purchasing the Light Bed 40 for those hotter temperatures. I would highly recommend this sleep system to anyone, in fact I have suggested it to a number of friends, some of which have also made the purchase and have not looked back at their old sleep systems. I am 6 feet tall, 200 lbs and purchased the Large quilt and it fits amazing and I love this sleep system. If you are on the fence in regards to purchasing this sleep system.... STOP.... just buy it, you will not regret it at all.
