On the chart below, locate your height and overarm measurement. To get your overarm measurement, stand with your hands by your sides and measure around the broadest part of your chest and arms.
Regular, Large, and XL refer to the quilt size 20", 25", and 30" refer to the sheet size
If you are an "active" sleeper or have a "wide" sleep position, consider sizing up to accommodate your sleep style. When in doubt, size up. Unlike mummy bags, there's no thermal disadvantage to a larger size Zenbivy because the quilt is always free to wrap snuggly around you. Bigger is always more comfortable and just as warm.
Sheet & Mattress Sizing
Zenbivy sheets are designed to fit most standard size mattresses on the market, in both rectangular and tapered styles.

You can expect your Bed to compress down to abouthalfthe size of its recommended Dry Sack.Example: 7L compresses down to 3-4L, 10L down to 5L, etc
You don't have to choose between an ultralight pack or comfort at camp—the Light Bed gives you the best of both worlds. Our 2-piece sleeping bag combines the warmth and draft-free performance of a mummy bag with the luxurious comfort of a backpacking quilt. It's built to feel like your bed at home with a sheet below you and a quilt above so you can get a comfortable, natural night's sleep outdoors without the constriction of a mummy bag.
We've refined every aspect to save weight including using performance fabrics, high-quality down, and a unique ultra-secure hook and loop system to add versatility to the setup. We built the Light Bed for performance so you can go further outdoors in comfort.
The Light Bed 25° includes the Light Quilt 25°, Light Sheet 25°, and an extra-large mesh bag for long-term storage. (Mattress, pillow, and compression sold separately)
Zipper-less Configuration — Our Light Quilts are offered in two styles: Fast Footbox™ or Convertible Footbox. The Fast Footbox™ is our simplest, lightest, and quickest. With a single clip and minimal fuss, it easily converts from warm “mummy mode” to spacious “wide mode”. In addition to both mummy and wide modes, our Convertible Footbox also unclips to lay completely flat. The Convertible Footbox provides maximum versatility in warmer temperatures and when used with accessories.
Comfortably Light Fabrics — You'll find that most down backpacking quilt makers shed weight by using thin, clingy 10D fabrics. We found more clever ways to ditch ounces while keeping the fabric a very smooth, comfy, and durable 20D. 20D fabrics are much softer than traditional ultralight tech fabrics while being only a fraction heavier. Definitely worth it!
The Kylie-curve™ — The patent-pending Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4 length baffle-backed drawstring on the top edge of our quilts. Unlike traditional backpacking quilts that have a drawstring spanning the entire width, the shortened cord length on the Zenbivy quilt cinches only the center portion. It softly seals around your neck while leaving either edge loose to drape at your sides or tuck up into the fitted sheet's hood to block drafts.
Quality Insulation — The Light Bed is filled with premium 800 fill-power HyperDRY™ down. This down uses a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
Thermally-mapped Baffles — We designed our quilts to maximize thermal efficiency, distributing down to provide the most warmth where it’s needed. Smaller baffles minimize down-shift, vertical baffles around the upper body prevent down from sliding, and horizontal baffles on the top of the foot box keep down from shifting with foot movement.
Roomy Integrated Hood — Built for all sleep positions, the Light Sheet features a wide rectangular hood that provides extra space and restriction-free warmth around your head and arms. The hood also acts as a cubby to keep your camp pillow from wandering away in the middle of the night!
Light & Compact — Starting at just 1 lb 12 oz and compressing down to about 3-4L in size, the ultra-compact Light Bed is the best choice if you're an avid backpacker looking for comfort at the lowest possible weight and bulk.
All Light Quilts are compatible with all Light Sheets regardless of size. The quilt is sized to fit you, the sheet is sized to fit your mattress. See our full size guide for more information.

Light Quilt Features
Hook & Loop Attachments
The Light Quilt uses a series of color-coded hooks and loops to form the footbox and attach the quilt to the sheet. This not only sheds the weight of heavy zippers, but gives you more versatility in how you choose to clip it!
The patent-pending Kylie-curve™ is a 3/4 length baffle-backed drawstring on the top edge of our quilts.
Smooth Fabrics & Quality Down
No thin, clingy 10D fabrics here. We found more clever ways to ditch ounces while keeping the fabric a very smooth, comfy, and durable 20D.
The Light Quilts use top-shelf 800 fill-power HyperDRY™ down, using a natural wax-based compound to make it water resistant. It is durable, fluorocarbon-free, and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) compliant.
Light Sheet Features
By clipping the Light Quilt to the hinged “wings” of the Light Sheet, it's free to get wider where and when you need it to while preventing any possible drafts from the sides as you move. Then, just as instantly, the quilt "settles" to wrap snuggly around you.
Large Insulated Hood
Tuck in under the sheet's large hood to keep your head warm on cold nights. It's roomy and wide enough to fit the arms of stomach sleepers as well! The integrated hood doubles as a cubby to keep your camp pillow from wandering off in the middle of the night.
20D Nylon Taffeta Body
The Light Sheets are made with 20D nylon taffeta. This 20D fabric is buttery-soft and smooth against your skin. It's more comfortable than sleeping directly on the mattress and, as a bonus, it helps to keep your mattress cleaner for longer!
Excellent Sleeping System - freedom to move around .As a taller backpacker I struggle to fit into the so called longer and wider bags but this was a refreshing change .
No draughts and very warm at -5C on a damp cold Cumbrian night .
I always found mummy bags so restricting, and most quilts would slide off or to the side. The Zen Bivy light bed system is a work of art. It's super light, lofts up well, and is incredibly warm. I paired it with a silk liner and slept like a baby on a late winter night in a lean-to in the Adirondacks where it got down to the teens. I also love the system with the sheet and pillow barn so much, I'm going to grab myself one of the 40* synthetic for the spring and early fall.
The weather can change here in Pa. But no matter rain or shine cold or hot I can always look forward to a great night's sleep.. nothing better than climbing into my zenbivy after a long day and listening to a good rain storm. I love it! Thanks zenbivy.
